Confirmation is a weekly class for young people that delves more deeply into the Christian Faith. Confirmation reaffirms the commitment that parents, sponsors, and the congregation make to a child who is baptized – that they will be taught the scriptures and instructed in the Faith. With the newest group of confirmands, Pastor Morris is taking a different approach to begin their studies. He will focus on three grand concepts: Law vs Gospel, the Theology of the Cross vs the Theology of Glory, and the “Simul” – our state of being simultaneously Saints and sinners. Former confirmands and all parents (and grandparents) are invited to attend. Confirmation is held on Thursday nights during the school year. (updated 11/2023)
