Backpack Buddies
Christ the Vine Lutheran Church in association with the North Clackamas School district have teamed up to support the nationwide Backpack Buddies program. We are honored to provide supplemental food support for 40 children each month at a local school. Through our volunteer workers we provide each week 40 individual food packages for students to take home over the weekend. The program provides protein food, fruit, a healthy snack, and juice. The first Saturday of each month (9:45am) our volunteers make food packs for the whole month.WE ARE IN NEED OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
Pull Tab/Pop Top cans of Soups Pull Tab/Pop Top cans of Chili Crackers – Peanut Butter or Cheese Small boxes of Raisins Granola Bars Peanut Butter Fruit cups Juice Boxes Applesauce cups Trail Mix individual pouches
Items can be dropped off in the lobby of the Church
